1. A new book titled, ‘Nalanda – Until we meet again’ has been launched by legendary writer Ruskin Bond. The book was written by Gautam Borah, who is also the author of the widely acclaimed book ‘Monetising Innovation’.

3. The 13th edition of the bilateral exercise between the Indian and the Royal Oman navies, Naseem Al Bahr-2022, commenced off the coast of Oman on 20 November 2022. The exercise is being conducted in two phases: the Harbour Phase and the Sea Phase.

4. The Indian Navy’s guided missile frigate "Trikand" and Offshore Patrol Vessel "Sumitra" with their integral helicopters, and the maritime patrol aircraft, Dornier, participated in the exercise.

5. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) allowed HDFC Bank Ltd and Canara Bank Ltd to open a special “Vostro account” for trade in Rupees with Russia. This paves the way for cross-border trade in the Indian currency, especially between New Delhi and Moscow. Three other Indian banks State Bank of India, IndusInd Bank, and UCO Bank had earlier received the necessary permissions from the regulator to roll out rupee trades.
